So many of my photographer friends incorporate photos of their regular everyday lives into blog posts. I think about doing it.... but then usually decide NOT to break out my camera... hence, no blogpost.

TODAY was different. My son was acting weird all morning and demanding privacy. He told me NOT to go into his room while he was at school. He also told me that he would know if I violated these wishes. I nodded in agreement and headed for the car.

THIS is what I found when I came home. A 4 year old's version of a booby trap. I am still chuckling....

Back to school and busier than ever. So much to do before the holidays.... MUST. STAY. FOCUSED.
Trying to iron out a few details for some holiday mini sessions. Stay tuned for more info SOON!

Round 2 of my session with my worst client EVER "aka" -my own flesh and blood. It went a tad bit better than the first attempt.... but still left me [longing] for that perfecct shot! We had hiding, tears, and pouts this round. I was wishing for joyful smiles and laughter.... Maybe next time.

back to life. back to reality.

Summer vacation is coming to an end..... time to get back to work. I have been on somewhat of a hiatus lately. Hence, no blog action for almost a month. [yikes] Now I am ready to rock and roll!

I am also making a [real] commitment to take more photos of MY family.... I might even jump in a few too. I woke up today with the urge to get some great shots of my little man. HE wasn't really into it..... I got two decent images and I now realize that he REALLY needs a haircut. Maybe I will try again this evening..... after a haircut.
