so my camera came TODAY.... a day earlier than expected! woo hoo! the battery is charging and i can hardly wait to take it out for the maiden voyage. i should have lots of shots to post here next week.
speaking of next week, i will be out of town this weekend with limited email and internet access. please use my cell phone to reach me if you need immediate assistance.
i have been waiting for this day for a VERY long time. today i took the plunge and bought a new baby! i have been researching and soul searching for months about this decision. i can't wait until friday when it arrives via UPS second day air (yes, i splurged for it)..... why wait until monday when for 12 bucks, it can be here friday? a no brainer in my book!
stay tuned for reviews!
next up... a sassy new camera bag! got my eye on this one but the i am still hunting!
i still continue to struggle with my consistent blogging. i vow to TRY to be better!
i attended the Nikon School of Photography course on lighting and color yesterday. picked up a few new tricks and "hob-nobbed" with some fellow shooters! i was a little disappointed by the strong coverage/salespitch for their editing software... but overall, it was a good day!
happy new year! if you've been wondering about me.... i am still here and promise to be a better blogger in 2009. the holiday madness and spring cleaning have kept me VERY busy. i am working on some new collection pricing and planning a spring mini-session in the near future. stay tuned for more details on both.
aaaah.... florida! you gotta love a place where you can shoot beach pictures in december! it WAS cold on this day (55 degrees is FREEZING around these parts), but this sweet girl was a real trooper! thanks miss g for a great time!
so i live in a house with 2 boys who LOVE airplanes. one of our favorite family activities is to venture down to the edgewater airport looking for cool stuff! sometimes we find it, but often times we find a slow airport filled with neglected airplanes and not much else. with or without aviation action.... this remains one of my favorite backdrops for shooting my boys!
